Job Description

Position Overview:

The core responsibilities of the VIP Salon Coordinator are to assist Table Games operations in the High Limit Salons. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with the issuance and buyback of pit markers; entering manual guest ratings on guest accounts in to ACSC; processing Grazie card signs ups and reprints; and providing Table Games support as system experts during ACSC system down times.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of all operating systems and equipment.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures, Internal Controls, MICS and Nevada Gaming Regulations which includes the Nevada Gaming Control Board, IRS, and Title 31.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information, and pertinent casino data.
  • Adheres to and follow all laws and regulations pertaining to underage gambling. Takes necessary precautions to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and supplied workstation.
  • Must be able to touch and handle supplies in safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.
  • Perform other tasks/assignments as directed by the Supervisor or delegated authority.
  • Safety is an essential function of this job.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Nevada Gaming Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy. 
  • 1 year of experience.
  • Previous clerk and/or casino cage experience preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills and data entry.
  • Ability to process and compile data according to established guidelines and/or procedures.
  • Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 10 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
