We are looking for an EHS Manager for the Marshall, MI campus. The EHS Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining management programs to achieve environmental, health, and safety in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Department Annual Budget and Special Project Budgeting/Management.
  • Supervise Health/Safety Technician, Facilities Engineer, Environmental Technician, and BBS Observers.
  • Develop & Administer Health & Safety Compliance, Inspection, & Training programs in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Co-facilitator of BBS (Corporate reporting and Steering Committee Director).
  • Responsible for EHS Committee at Mfg./DC/RC and Facility Ergonomics Committee.
  • Development and maintenance of information management databases.
  • Develop and administer management programs to achieve environmental compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Responsible for facility compliance with Clean Air Act (maintain permit, monthly/annual reporting, and state inspections).
  • Responsible for facility compliance with Clean Water Act (maintain permit, monthly/annual analysis, and local/state inspections).
  • Responsible for maintaining EPA/ADEQ OSHA/ADOL required written compliance management plans.
  • Project management of plant site GW remediation and Finch Superfund Project (consultant management, etc).
  • Responsible for monthly and annual EPA/ADEQ reporting for hazardous and nonhazardous waste generation.
  • Responsible for annual SARA Form R report and continuous inventory of TRI chemical use.
  • Responsible for maintaining/implementing the Sampling and Analysis Plans for In-house sampling/Analysis for special projects.
  • Responsible for annual SARA Tier II reporting to city, county, and state agencies.
  • Participate as a Sampling Team member for all active remediation projects ($50k+ per year).

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience leading EHS teams
  • CSP certification preferred.
