As an Equipment Technician, you’ll have the opportunity to use your technical skills to play a key role on our manufacturing team – and you’ll only work 3-4 days per week!
A bit about the role: 
  • We only work 3-4 days a week! Our facilities operate four different 12-hour shifts. Currently, we are looking to fill positions on the following shifts:  
Day shift schedules:
  • 1st shift: Mon – Wed (+ Thursdays during Peak season), 5am – 5pm
  • 3rd shift: Fri – Sun (+ Thursdays during Peak season), 5am – 5pm (+$1/hr. shift diff.)
…Or for the night owls, we have the following overnight shifts:
  • 2nd Shift: Mon – Wed (+ Thursdays during Peak season), 5pm – 5am (+$1/hr. shift diff.)
  • 4th Shift: Fri – Sun (+ Thursdays during Peak season), 5pm – 5am (+$2/hr. shift diff)

What You'll Do Here: 
  • Perform maintenance on high-speed equipment, including but not limited to, digital presses or bindery/finishing equipment
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans and blueprints
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve any equipment issues to keep equipment running at peak efficiency
  • Maintain confidentiality and strict compliance with the company’s security policy related to potential access to sensitive information
The Skills You'll Bring: 
  • Experience planning and performing maintenance on high-speed digital printing and bindery/finishing equipment, or equivalent technical experience
  • Ability to perform adjustments on mechanical systems and troubleshoot/replace worn components
  • Understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures 
  • Experience performing maintenance on high voltage equipment (480V) with the ability to determine the voltage of energized parts and potential hazards 
  • Ability to understand documentation of maintenance and repair procedures 
  • Ability to work on all shifts as needed, stand for 12 hours+, lift up to 25 lbs., crouch, kneel, reach, bend and do repetitive actions
