Job Description

What You'll Do Here:
  • Provide troubleshooting over the phone with Lifetouch internal field customers for Lifetouch camera and computer systems.
  • Repair, trouble-shoot, assemble, test, modify, analyze, and maintain Lifetouch equipment such as camera equipment, computer systems, cables, and lighting equipment as well as other miscellaneous equipment supported by Field Technical Services department.
  • Help write process sheets for repairs, and for each assembly, or have any assembly notes necessary added to the blueprint.
  • Recognize any problem an assembler or repair person may have during the assembly or repair process and eliminate the problem using fixtures or whatever means necessary to correct the problem.
  • Work with Lead to insure proper use of repair processes and fixtures.
  • Work with and make suggestions to Leads/Supervisors that may create higher quality and more functional assemblies and repairs.
  • May travel to other Lifetouch facilities for equipment installation, repair or training (< 5% of the time)
The Skills You'll Bring
  • Minimum of 2 years electronic schooling or equivalent
  • Basic Computer skills, such as knowledge of Windows XP, 7, 10
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.)
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work unusual hours at short notice, including overtime
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
It is Helpful but Not Required to Have:
  • Basic networking skills 
  • Experience with Database management
  • Knowledge or experience with continuous improvement initiatives like LEAN manufacturing
