HR Compliance is seeking a temporary full-time resource to support the communication and maintenance of policies and practices in compliance with Federal, state, county and city laws, rules and regulations (laws) that are applicable to Shutterfly companies.
The primary areas of focus for this role will be compliance posters, background checks, monitoring policy acknowledgments, immigration case support, minimum wage and regulatory updates, posting requirements, and statutory reporting.  This role is a full time temporary role through September.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities                          
  • Adjudication, background check research for internal transfers, OIG monitoring, dispute and contest monitoring, reporting, billing review and troubleshooting. Additionally, this position will also support the state specific requirements which continue to increase year-over-year. 
  • Support immigration case management (documentation, employee verifications, employee communications) in partnership with internal Legal department and external counsel, as appropriate.
  • Serve as the escalation point for compliance related questions that are received in the HR Compliance and Immigration inbox
  • Review HR Compliance training reports on a regular basis and determine escalation needs with HR Operations and HR Managers based on non-compliance.
  • Audit reports and compliance activity controls.  
  • Research new regulations and statutory requirements and their application to the business. Provide HR documentation and training, and communication templates to support the delivery of key messaging to all impacted populations.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the HR Compliance standard of work and initiatives.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management or similar field; or equivalent related experience
  • PHR or SPHR Certification and/or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP; preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years Human Resources, Administrative compliance or management experience preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
