Arconic is currently in search of an IT EBS PROJECT LEADER to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) Team in Davenport, IA

Primary Responsibilities

  • Implements multiple, strategic information systems projects across the GRP North America locations utilizing Oracle EBS Order to Cash (OtC) (at the following sites:  Davenport, IA; Danville, IL; and Hutchinson, KS)
  • Develops unified processes to standardize the OtC application footprint in preparation for the Oracle upgrade
  • Manages production support teams, project deployment teams, and off-shore development teams
  • Guides and directs project team member activities to ensure on-time, on-cost, and on-quality project delivery
  • Guides and directs support team member activities to ensure SLA and customer satisfaction targets
  • Drives OtC solution standardization between GRP and Extrusions business unit locations
  • Utilizes Arconic Deployment Framework (ADF) project management methodology to manage day-to-day operational and technical aspects of multiple, large-scale OtC projects
  • Develops and manages capital budget request documentation and expense budgets
  • Proactively manages capital spend processes, including monthly capital expense forecasts for responsible projects
  • Ensures project solutions align with Arconic’s compliance standards (Arconic Self-Assessment Tests, ITAR, DFARS, SOX, etc.) 
  • Proactively performs risk management to minimize project risks
  • Experienced with B2B Commerce partnerships and EDI deployments
  • Initiates innovation and change that delivers measurable value
  • Aligns ERP OtC information systems resourcing needs across GRP business units to meet the most urgent business needs
  • Develops and executes a strategy to align information systems processes between GRP to streamline ERP OtC production support

Key Objectives 

  • Partners with business leaders to prioritize project needs and ensure highest business needs are resourced appropriately
  • Aligns priorities of project deliverables and timelines among multiple business stakeholders across the BU
  • Establishes and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers to identify and on-board qualified contract resources
  • Aligns with Davenport & Satellites IT Manager to balance resource capacity of location resources to project needs
  • Maintains strong collaboration and partnership with business functional owners, Global information systems, procurement, finance, engineering, and plant lead team members
  • Inspires team to generate and deliver new value-add ideas
  • Regularly communicates project status to project steering team and stakeholders
  • Addresses issues promptly and escalates issues appropriately to project steering team
  • Resolves team conflicts and escalates appropriately
  • Supports Arconic Compliance activities by performing annual system testing for adherence to IT System and SOX Audit requirements, assists SOX audit teams and internal audit teams as required, and performs Disaster Recovery testing as required.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 
  • 5 years’ minimum experience in a similar role. 
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field from an accredited institution
  • Experience in a manufacturing, quality systems, metals industry
  • Subject matter expert in EBS Order to Cash
  • Demonstrated application support and operations management experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong business process and manufacturing knowledge
  • Effective people and team leadership skills
  • Knowledge of multiple project management methodologies
  • Experience with ASAT / internal audit processes
  • Experience with Issue and Financial management
  • Understanding of Datamarts and data transformation
  • Creative thinker
  • Knowledge of ABS principles
