We are looking for a Materials Scheduler to join our manufacturing facility in Paragould, Arkansas. This position will be responsible for all materials planning processes and information. This position will be a valued member of the Materials Management team.

Position Purpose:

The key individual responsible for tactical demand planning for determining the production line schedules for the manufacturing plant.

Summary of Primary Duties:

Analyzing customer demand to establish production line schedules for multiple production lines.  Setting and executing production plans which meet targeted inventory, fill rate and efficiency goals.   Responsible for production smoothing to meet demand per any supply constraints.   Additionally, the production plans drive the supporting component material releases for material planning and manufacturing.  Accuracy and proficiency in the planning process are critical to achieve manufacturing goals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1.             Create rolling weekly production schedules per production line for assigned product on a daily basis to           support inventory goals and delivery objectives.

2.             Manage SAP planning and inventory control parameters via ERM Monitor review of exception messages.

3.             Plans and schedules workflow for departments according to previously established schedules.

4.             Ensures proper contact with internal (DC) customers relating to releases and deliveries.

5.             Makes appropriate changes as required by exception report management or other changes driven by             operational issues and/or demand fluctuation.

6.             Collaborates with engineering & product teams for effective ramp-up and launch of NPI.

7.             Prepares production reports, back-order reports, capacity reports and other reports as needed.

8.             Plan and schedule production for the Factory by review and analysis of inventory levels, production plans,     customer forecasts and safety stock.

9.             Participates in and helps lead the facility’s physical inventory.

10.          Dispositions obsolete, returned, and rejected materials.

11.          Identifies crucial issues, cost savings, and improvements; develops and implements action plans;

12.          Participates in company and plant programs (Safety, TVM’s, BOS, Launches, etc…);

13.          Ensures fair and equitable administration of all company policies and safety regulations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

1.             Associate's degree in Business Management, Business Administration (or equivalent experience);

2.             Super-user level of SAP skills 

3.             Three to five years of broad manufacturing experience in a high volume manufacturing environment;

4.             Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects;

5.             Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;

6.             Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor direct reports;

7.             Demonstrated hands on problem solving and decision making skills;

8.             Knowledge of LEAN principles and Six Sigma;

9.             Computer literate with strong analytical skills. 

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is occasionally required to stand, walk and/or sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
