Purpose:

The Onboarding Analyst is responsible for the onboarding and technical implementation of distribution partners. The Onboarding Analyst will work closely with the business relationship management team, the order entry team, and our IT partners to coordinate the implementation of business and technology needs for the Financial Institutions channel. This position will require a broad understanding of order entry platforms and administration platforms, as well as the interdependencies between them. This role will be focused on providing timely, accurate, and effective communication to our internal and external partners. This position will provide coordination between internal technical teams and distribution partners for onboarding and future enhancements. This role will also provide project coordination for distribution-requested technical initiatives and platform/data feeds enhancements, as well as new technology requests.

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating the implementation needs of Financial Institution (FI) partners.

  • Serves as primary contact for the platform/data feeds needs of unsupported firms.

  • Responsible for DTCC and related data feed development requirements, testing, and ongoing support.

  • Partner with Business Analysts, Onboarding Analysts, and IT Partners to support ongoing changes in support of Projects and FI onboarding.

  • Create operational processes necessary for supporting long-term FI technical needs.

  • Assist in the research, analysis, and resolution of moderate to complex production issues experienced by FI partners.

  • Develop communication appropriate for various levels within Insurance Operations who may be impacted by these efforts.

  • Complete testing of order entry platforms in support of onboarding and implementation efforts.

  • Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT, legal and compliance.

  • Build relationships with business partners and stakeholders across the organization.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education

  • 3+ years of professional/technical work experience required

  • Strong understanding of annuity products and operational process

  • Familiarity with Order Entry platforms, DTCC feeds, and administration systems

  • Results oriented, self-motivated individual who takes ownership over assignments

  • Strong problem solving, communication, and conflict management skills

  • Ability to motivate and influence peers

  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Visio, as well as Jira and Confluence

  • Must be curious, organized, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment

  • Embraces changes and assists in guiding others through change

  • Understanding of and adherence to agile best practices and processes
