Position Overview

The Operations Team Member will process/receive, sort, test, inspect, and pack products such as cell phones, tablets, laptops and other electronic devices for shipment to retail and wholesale partners. Efficiently managing the flow of merchandise in and out of the processing center is critical to Gazelle's success, and we are committed to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, receive and inspect electronic devices arriving to the processing center

• Test cell phone, tablets, laptops and other electronic devices

• Determine condition and functionality of devices by following detailed processes and checklists

• Verify information about each device on computerized screens

• Pack and ship devices

• Move totes of devices through the process to the next destination

• Provide feedback on improving workflow, efficiencies and quality of work

• Support and follow the safety and environmental policies and procedures

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Previous processing experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be competent and experienced in using a computer and entering detailed data

• Capable of learning details about mobile phones and consumer electronics

• Dependable, trustworthy and able to work well within a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently read fine print, inspect product, differentiate fine details, and repeatedly manipulate small electronic devices. Repetitive manipulation of objects, tools, or controls. Regularly operate a computer at a standing workstation, using a keyboard, mouse and scanner. Frequently positioning of oneself (e.g., stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, kneel, crouch) to perform work tasks. May need to move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 70lbs a distance of up to 50 feet. Frequent use of hands to sort & package material. With assistance, may need to operate push carts weighing up to 3000 lbs. across a concrete surface. Routinely communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person or electronically. Must be able to stand on your feet for up to 10 hours per day and walk 3 miles per day.
