Arconic is seeking an Oracle Analyst to join our Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit in Lafayette, IN.

Profile: The primary purpose of this role is to be validate Oracle entries entered by the operators to correctly and efficiency monitor Lithium production as it flows through the production process.

Essential Functions: The Oracle analyst within AEX requires technical and interpersonal skills essential to team work.  Major duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Ensuring operators are inputting their production activity accurately into the Oracle database.
  • Conduct daily physical inventories of raw material, WIP and finished goods.
  • Participate in daily department meetings and provide updates on transaction accuracy.
  • Track Lithium production workflow through accurate Oracle transactions.
  • Create tracking mechanism for Oracle transactions as they move from raw material to finished goods.
  • Utilize Oracle for Inventory Control of materials used in Lithium production.
  • Train and educate new Supervisors and Operators on the correct way to enter Oracle transactions.
  • Investigate any Oracle data or transaction discrepancies and assign corrective actions to fill any identified data entry gaps.
  • Developing, improving, and implementing Oracle process that encourages cross-shift communication.

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years business experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ years experience using an ERP database such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • 1+ years experience in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Oracle database experience
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Business
  • Experience in casting
