Job Description:
As an Organic Social Media Contractor at JCPenney Portraits by Lifetouch, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to our brand's online presence and engagement across various social media platforms. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute organic social media strategies that resonate with our target audience and drive brand awareness.
*Please note this position is hybrid with one day a week in the office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in creating relevant and trending content for campaigns on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and other digital advertising channels
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media calendars, content schedules, and performance reports.
  • Monitor social media trends, topics, and conversations relevant to the industry and incorporate them into our content strategy
  • Engage with our social media followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in identifying potential influencers for campaigns aligned with JCPenney Portraits by Lifetouch's target audience and brand values.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Currently a junior or senior enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their features, and best practices for content creation and engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Basic graphic design skills and proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Canva, Animoto) are a plus.
  • MS Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)  
  • Independent self-starter; highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
