Job Description

  • Responsible for checking in hardware as received in.
  • Verify hardware received is correct against Purchase Order and completed takeoff.
  • Kit hardware for production.
  • Request RGA paperwork from Hardware Vendor and ship back physical hardware for credit if needed.
  • Complete hardware compatibility reviews.
  • Track Hardware orders (Kawneer Purchased) with Hardware Vendor to confirm ship date, transit time, and date of receipt to properly schedule Check In prioritization list.
  • Ability to operate or train to operate forklift.
  • Communicate and resolve issues with outside hardware that has been physically received with both internal and external customers.
  • Provide training to Front End department on Hardware compatibility and applications.
  • Ensure the safety and health of the employees
  • This is a safety-sensitive position. 
  • Other duties as needed to meet business objectives.

Basis or Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. 
  • 3 years of hardware experience.
  • 3 years of fabrication experience.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 5 years of hardware experience.
  • 5 years of fabrication experience.
