Key responsibilities:

  • Deal with quality problems of welding production line and reduce PPM

  • Process planning, new equipment development, tooling production and sample production of welding parts for new projects

  • New project development, production line planning, process planning

  • Supplier technical support

  • Welding process optimization

  • Process documentation

  • CT reduction and CI improvement projects

    Ideal candidate experience:

    Welding experience in auto parts industry

    Skills and capabilities (leadership and/or functional):

  • More than 3 years working experience in welding process, more than 2 years working experience in automotive industry

  • Proficient in MAG welding, resistance welding (spot welding and seam welding) related processes and equipment

  • Proficient in mechanical drawing, able to independently complete tooling design

  • Proficient in the application and teaching programming of welding robots

  • Familiar with new project development procedure, PPAP, FMEA and other tools

  • Proficient in office software; CAD and solidework drawing software

  • Proficient in written and spoken English

    Qualifications/ certifications:

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in welding or mechanical engineering
