About Internship Program

This internship will run from from July 1, 2024, to August 30, 2024, for a consecutive 9 weeks on full time basis.

Yahoo will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Taiwan, and this internship position is not available for Yahoo's visa sponsorship. Participants must be located in Taiwan throughout the duration of the program.

About You

In this internship, you will have the opportunity to work with product designers, researcher and engineers, participate in Gen Z News product innovations, specifically in the information world - news, video, entertainment, sports, finance and more, around our daily life.

  • Understand market insights and opportunities, crunch numbers to make data driven decisions.

  • Understand the needs and expectations of Gen Z audiences, ideate and execute tailored strategies in order to develop a compelling product proposition.

  • Push the boundaries to create better, innovative experiences for our users.

  • Work closely with UX/UI designers and user researchers to develop and present your innovation ideas.

  • Responsible for project deliverables, schedule, cost and quality as well as reporting within the organization.

  • Establish and maintain appropriate structures to ensure communication, flow of information and documentation within the project.





You Must Have

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited higher education institution and actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in business administration, mass communication, computer science or engineering.

  • Passionate in user-centric product development process, enjoy working with cross-functional teams.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with demonstrated creative and critical thinking.

  • Fast learner who can adapt changes quickly and work both independently and collaboratively

  • Excellent communication and presentation skill to articulate product ideas to technical/non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to understand market trends, ecosystem, competitive landscape.
