Shutterfly is looking for an experienced Product Partner Manager to lead technical discovery on our platform, tied exclusively to partner specific projects. These partners are the foundation for customer and revenue growth in our partner organization. This individual should have comprehensive knowledge about industry practices, technologies, and user behavior and experience approaches involved in providing exceptional consumer shopping experiences. This is a client facing role and this individual will drive the partner roadmap direction for all aspects of site activation for several large photo-based consumer ecommerce sites. Areas of responsibility include site and app landing and activation strategy, SEO/ASO, customer onboarding experiences, account and sign-up/in screens, referrals, and site accessibility collaboration.     
The Product Partner Solution Manager’s goal is to deliver consumer ecommerce experiences that produce high levels of customer satisfaction across all Shutterfly and partner network sites and continuously improve the activation and onboarding experiences from end-to-end across the customer journey.  They will develop and own the partner roadmap and work with the Domain team on product and engineering priorities, they will be the primary contact person for prioritization of partner work within the Domain Roadmap. This role will have crucial influence on the entire system and all the businesses it supports, and will collaborate with multiple business and technical stakeholders, in defining solutions that enable our external partners to be successful with their end customer goals.    

What You’ll Do Here:    

  • Serve as a key member of the Product team helping drive partner specific technical initiatives
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for domain information and provide support and consult to management on decisions affecting customer activation and onboarding strategy
  • Work collaboratively with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to understand key business and customer requirements, and to champion solutions to meet those requirements that Shutterfly’s engineering teams can transform into live functionality on our sites and mobile apps
  • Lead business case analysis, acceptance and alignment from stakeholders for recommended solutions, drive requirements and prioritization and working with technology teams to deliver programs that generate business value. Be the “voice” for the partner with internal teams  
  • Supporting product initiatives and customer experience from ideation to rollout
  • Collaborate to define, analyze and communicate product partner roadmaps that are aligned with business objectives and supported with business cases, market research, customer data and competitive analysis. Ensure final partner roadmap is clearly identified/sized and approved internally and with the Partner.
  • Gather customer feedback to validate that the product works in accordance with its intended purpose and objectives and meets KPIs
    Contribute to continuous improvement of project qualifications collection, working relationships, demoing new features and measuring results

The Skills You’ll Bring:    

  • 4+ years of experience in full lifecycle software development, preferably familiar with web application development
  • 4 years of experience in gathering and documenting user requirements and communicating them to engineering teams
  • 4 years of experience with Agile implementation methodologies
  • Naturally organized, highly analytical, detail oriented and enjoy solving complex problems
  • Energetic self-starter passionate about professional integrity and excellence with a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm
  • The ability to successfully collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Experienced in driving many projects that are fast paced and ongoing
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science or other relevant field

It is helpful, but not required to have:    

  • Experience with Jira, Smartsheet, MS office, and Confluence
  • Background in industries related to eCommerce, retail, manufacturing or printing

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.     
  • California : [ $104,000-148,000] 
  • Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island: [$104,000-135,500] 
  • Colorado and Washington: [$104,000-125,500] 
  • Nevada: [$97,750-135,500]
