Job Description

Arconic is currently in search of Production Operative to join our Kitts Green Team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

To be part of an ever-improving team in the effective and efficient management of a diverse manufacturing team to ensure all safety, quality, service, cost and productivity objectives are met.

  • To engage with site EHS requirements and HP methodologies.
  • To help maintain and enhance established standards relating to the activities and products.
  • Monitors performance according to agreed standards.
  • Contribute to the deployment of the Quality strategy and drive its implementation in the area.
  • Liaises with supplying and customer processes and production control to ensure the highest levels of end customer service are achieved.
  • Direct feedback to Team Leader or Manager when required.
  • Aids the control of Team Leaders cost targets by assisting monitoring of and utilisation of manufacturing supplies and equipment.
  • Ensures that output targets are achieved and exceeded by resolving issues and close liaison with Team Leaders and react to deviation from target.
  • Drives continuous improvement activities to increase plant capacities.
  • To maintain positive relationships whilst pushing for completion of work to standard and on time.
  • To monitor the utilisation of the necessary skills to perform tasks to standard.
  • To give focus and drive performance of the team building a culture of over delivery.
  • To lead the team confidently and competently to achieve agreed targets.
  • To assist in ensuring the team has the appropriate skills and technical ability to work effectively, safely and efficiently.

Experience

  • Must be focused and have the ability to challenge Development of teams with a hands on approach
  • At least 2 years of Manufacturing experience desired.
  • Using the current SFR system and understand delays system and able to feedback issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NEBOSH/IOSH
  • N.E.M.S.B
  • IMS/ILM –Leadership in Management.
  • Continuous improvement
