Arconic is currently in search of a Project Leader - Data Analytics and Reporting to join our Enterprise Applications IT team in Pittsburgh, PA.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage multiple medium to large reporting projects as a member of the IT Analytics and Automation team.
  • Work with business partners to define reporting requirements for new data analytics and reporting projects.
  • Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs, host project meetings, manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
  • Implement IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Lead the support of the current PowerBI platform including existing reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify new technologies and help develop the corporate analytics strategy. 

Key Objectives

  • Support existing reporting platform and implement change requirements as needed along with overseeing the process of troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Deliver strategic expansion of analytical reporting to new/existing business leaders by identifying processes for building new solutions while clearly communicating the capabilities/value of the platform.
  • Lead multi-team projects that translates data results into reports, tables, graphs, and charts to convey information to management.
  • Create a high level of customer interaction to help identify and recommend solutions that effectively satisfy the data processing and information requirements of the business. 
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop and maintain a roadmap for future reporting projects. 
  • Assist in building a governance model that meets all guidelines detailed in the audit/compliance tool (with a specific focus on business partnerships, change control, disaster recovery, and security) for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Manage an offshore model that provides development and/or support solutions in the assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in job requirements, changes in technology, and changes in the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related subject from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics and reporting
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience with leading IT projects.
  • Provide effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Power Apps, specifically PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with Scrum or other agile project management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of governance and change management procedures in an IT environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively is a key success factor.
  • Strong human relation skills, and able to interact with internal and external customers, vendors, other IS professionals, and Arconic IT management.
