Job Purpose:\u00A0\u00A0
To take ownership for the development of the Business Unit strategy, value proposition and go-to-market focused on delivering profitable growth against prior year and the annual operating plan, and driving towards an aspiration market share position. To lead, develop and improve the capabilities of the business unit from an internal and external perspective through building, developing, retaining and engaging a winning team.
Responsibilities:
Co-develop and execute the Business Unit strategy in full alignment with the agreed strategy to grow profitable market share.
Build and scale solution and service offerings for re-sellers and vendors including TaaS.
Manage the portfolio of the BU including new vendor identification and on-boarding and other business development initiatives in order to optimise results.
Build, develop, retain and engage direct report team, with a particular focus on leadership succession planning and talent development.
Align procurement and vendor strategies to ensure optimised availability, working capital and best trading terms and conditions.
Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share.
Review and address profitability issues in relation to the P&L target.
Accurate and timely forecasting of the BU at appropriate profit centre level aligned with the forecast cycles.
Relationship and engagement with key vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the \u201CTrusted Advisor\u201D.
Jointly develop the marketing development strategy with the Marketing Director and agree and initiate marketing programmes.
Skills and Experience:
Skilled multi-level relationship builder
Decision-making with excellent judgement
Excellent communication, ability to explain complex topics in a simple way
Project leadership: lead the team, delegation and measuring the success of each projects and plans
Business analysis and administration: understand the concepts of business from a sales, marketing, finance, human resources and operations perspective
Experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a management level, ideally from a sales, marketing, technical, finance or operations background
Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling
Demonstrable experience in team leadership and people management
Strategic planning and business case development
Experience of working within a matrix structure
Business planning experience with strong operational cadence
