Job Purpose

Maintains general ledger, fixed asset, intercompany, cash management and financial records within the general accounting functions. Owns the balance sheet reconciliation process and proactively follows up on aged items. Collects and analyzes support for financial data for completeness and accuracy. Prepares reports, statements, analyses and/or recommendations for internal and/or external use. Ensures procedures and internal controls are followed to maintain the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting policies and principles. Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of general accounting activities and reporting including processing journal entries, preparation and calculation of accruals, prepayments, adjustments.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Ensure completeness of fixed asset capitalization, depreciation run and leasing.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Perform all intercompany billing consistently during the month and ensure completeness during month end close.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Monitor the intercompany reconciliation report to ensure that any material mismatch is followed and resolved.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Work closely with AP and AR team to ensure all bank clearing items are posted and matched. Complete bank reconciliation during month ends close.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Perform period and year end closing operations on a timely and accurate basis.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Ensure proper analysis and completion of balance sheet reconciliation according to the group accounting and reconciliation policy.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Prepare group reporting packages during month end and ensure proper analysis and documentation for internal and external reporting purposes.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Resolve all queries from controllers and other stakeholders from relevant entities regarding general accounting matters.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Responsible to work closely with controllers to ensure completeness and accuracy in completion of financial statements.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Ensure adherence to internal controls and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries and reasonableness of balance sheet positions.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Support, follow-up and escalation of identified issues

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Understand, monitor and take proper action regarding KPIs.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Other additional task as assigned by the manager.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Work closely with the manager in proposing and participating in process improvement and automation initiatives.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Work closely with Junior Executives to help guide and resolve their queries as and when necessary.
