Arconic is currently in search of a Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure to join our Kawneer Business in Norcross, GA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver applications technology strategy and solutions to support business process efficiencies. 
  • Lead a team of DBA’s, Network Administrators, IT/OT Desktop Support tech across North America. 
  • Design and develop IT infrastructure to support business requirements 
  • Coordinate resources to respond to security and other critical incidents 
  • Manage - managed services vendors for IT Infrastructure related services
  • Accountable for management of IT equipment in the Process Network Domain 
  • Provide technical leadership for both application development and architecture design to the Software Engineering team using leading edge tools and methodologies. 
  • Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal and external service providers.
  • Accountable for ensuring that the necessary IS controls within the business unit are in place and meets or exceeds the Arconic’s compliance and internal control requirements.
  • Advocate and implement the Arconic Corporate IS strategy 
  • Recommend and implement common systems solutions covering all locations and functions, driving both BCS and Arconic system standards. 
  • Assist with Audit self-assessments and risk assessments #LI-CM1

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science
  • 10 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure Management 
  • 5 Years’ experience in designing and architecting large scale web applications 
  • 3 Years’ experience in hands on Servers and Database administration
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A deep understanding of developing IT infrastructure for large scale and high-performance applications 
  • Solid understanding of service-oriented and event-driven system architectures to be able to reinforce patterns and best practices 
  • Experience working with various data base systems and WinTel based application development platforms. 
  • Experience in managing and maintain a Citrix Virtual Applications farm 
  • Experience in managing Configuration and maintenance of clustered and stand-alone SQL Server /Oracle Databases 
  • Experience working in a Cloud/IaaS/PaaS environment such as OCI or Azure Cloud Engine 
  • Experience with Agile work processes and managing sprint cycles to ensure product ships on time and with quality 
  • Excellent organization and communication skills 
  • Experience in manufacturing environments 
  • Good knowledge of networking protocols 
  • IT experience in Manufacturing or other industry with complex supply chain 
  • Experience managing teams in a Matrix organization
