Arconic is currently in search of a Senior Quality Coordinator to join our team in Davenport, IA.

The Senior Quality Coordinator will ensure organization’s compliance with new and existing Airbus specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality procedures, quality plans, and quality performance trends related to Airbus and other key customers.
  • Help the business achieve compliance to business objectives, program requirements, and regulatory standards. 
  • Update Quality Assurance procedures, quality plans, work instructions and forms when required.
  • Managing and collecting of data from testing lab or physical processes and products, to ensure compliance with customer’s material specifications and qualifications.  
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure continued compliance with changes to customer and industrial specification requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute quality-related reports required by customers, vendors, the Company, and other entities.
  • Assist in and/or coordinate internal and external vendor, customer quality audits, process and product audits. 
  • Oversight of annual sample management programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5 years' experience in manufacturing or related field.
  • Must have working knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and principles. 
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • AS9100 auditor experience.
  • Skilled in use of personal computers with emphasis on analytical software.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication, presentation, training and leadership skills; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment essential.
  • Knowledge of Quality methods, techniques and equipment such as PPAP, Gauge R&R, etc. 
  • Knowledge of use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated drawings.
