  • Stay informed about industry trends, platform updates, and competitive landscape developments in social media marketing.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization to improve our social media presence and drive audience growth.

  • Monitor data quality, surfacing gaps or inconsistencies quickly and working with appropriate teams to address data needs.

  • Research market opportunities using third-party data sources such as Comscore, Similar Web, Shareablee, Data AI, Emplifi, etc.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to support and maintain lines of communication on sponsored campaigns and brand extension opportunities for social platforms.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in social media analytics and as an editor in the media industry.

  • Proven success leveraging social media data to generate actionable insights for audience growth and increased engagement.

  • Extensive knowledge of social media analytics (Facebook Insights, Conviva, YouTube Analytics, Listenfirst, Tubular, Social Content Ratings, etc.).

  • Extensive knowledge of social platforms – established and emerging – as well as platform best practices, industry trends and audience consumption habits.

  • Experience conducting analyses to optimize social media content and campaigns.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data-driven analyses to stakeholders at all levels.
