Job Description

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Executive – International Market Development is to expand customer development for Asian Market via networking and relationship management for patrons from the International Market Development Branch Office in Asia, on property Asian Marketing team.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide service excellence for a complete customer journey with The Venetian.
  • Develop and manage customer relationships for new and existing business.
  • Develop and manage new customer acquisition and productivity.
  • Ensure accountability and profitable development of International business.
  • Effectively and efficiently promote The Venetian through promotions and events, programs, and offers.
  • Communicate promotions, offers, as well as property and industry knowledge to our guests effectively.
  • Efficiently respond to guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proactively respond to customer requests, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Assist with all business from the International Market Development Branch Office in Asia.
  • Assist with transactions such as program buy-in, settlement, collections and complimentary.
  • Work closely with the Asian Marketing team to maintain a positive working environment.
  • Maintain teamwork collaboration within the department and with all divisional inter departments.

  • Focus on achieving the company, departmental and individual targets, and goals, whilst remaining integrity and compliance.
  • Maintain effective and efficient time management and schedules.
  • Balance customer service vs. customer expenses to avoid over investment.
  • Complete all required Compliance training assigned annually by the company.
  • Actively participate in the Company’s safety program by following all policies, procedures, regulations, and laws to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Safety is an essential function of this job.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this work.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration, Alcohol Awareness card, and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • 4+ years of experience in a sales and or service role.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of managing high valued customer’s behaviors and preferences.
  • Previous work experience with a Las Vegas Strip casino is preferred.
  • Besides English, one or more spoken Asian language is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
