The Supply Operations team sits within Consumer Monetization and is a critical part of delivering predictable revenue at scale to Yahoo’s owned and operated properties.

The Supply Operations lead will be responsible for technical and operational aspects of the pre-sale and post-sale process for direct sold ad campaigns.  This includes teaming with publisher contacts on assigned accounts to meet and exceed goals. He or she will optimize monetization through accurate forecasting, packaging and development of process improvements.

In this role you will: 

  • Create and maintain ad inventory and sales packages in partnership with brand owners, yield, and product strategy. 

  • Oversee the accurate impression forecasts, price assignments and packaging of ad inventory.

  • Maintain internal cadence in support of revenue delivery, including driving reporting/process improvement, driving sales communication around brand products and ensuring action is taken on identified issues.

  • Gain a deep understanding of our publisher inventory and internal ad platform capabilities. Allowing you to support sales requests for new and existing capabilities.

  • Act as an operations administrator to ensure supply and demand is appropriately aligned between multiple tools.

  • Provide input on system functionality, packaging and processes that impact the sale and delivery of campaigns. 

  • Execute product strategy across all platforms and formats.

  • Provide guidance on troubleshooting/conflict resolution to internal partners.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

  • Past experience with Google Ad Manager, and other direct sales tools.

  • Proactively anticipate customer’s business needs.

  • Willing and able to collaborate across boundaries to get work done and drive business forward.

  • Strong customer focus – promoting customer satisfaction, resolution and loyalty.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum 1-3 years of ad operations, business analyst or relevant industry experience

  • Must have a strong understanding of the digital marketplace and understanding of the competitive landscape in which we operate.

The compensation for this position ranges from $72,750.00 - $151,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
