Job Description

Overview:

  • Able to use relevant computer system applications (which may include spreadsheets, word processors, databases, etc) at an intermediate level.\u00A0

  • Minimum of one current major certification recognized by the Systems Engineering Department (currency must be maintained), with a strong commitment to continued development of technical skills as evidenced by additional certifications or demonstrated expertise on a relevant technology or product line.

  • Minimum of (5) years technical support experience with PC's, high-end servers, local area networks, and associated components with at least (2) years in phone support environment

  • Minimum of (1) year vendor relations experience in a presales vendor support role

  • Minimum of (1) year experience in formal product presentations and/or technical sales training experience to small and medium audiences

  • Minimum of (1) year experience in project management

  • Previous trade show experience

  • Knowledge of the interoperability of various PC components, software, peripherals, networking, desktop platforms, applications, standalone and network operating systems, with strong technical abilities in at least (2) of these areas
