Job Description

With a friendly, upbeat and positive attitude, provides prompt, courteous beverage service to all guests.
  • Attends CARE training and receives certification for alcoholic beverage service.
  • Using accurate measurements prepares and serves drinks to guests as requested.
  • Registers beverage related transactions, handles cash, room charges and complimentary tickets according to procedures and guidelines established by management.
  • On an as needed basis, may work in the capacity of a beverage server, delivering drinks to the guests as ordered.
  • Completes assigned side work.
  • Communicates with Supervisor areas in need of special attention to better facilitate quality guest service.
  • Monitors environment and notifies a supervisor of guest intoxication.
  • Verifies Micros receipts ensuring accuracy.
  • Completes accurate daily reports/banks.
  • Keeps assigned areas neat and orderly.
  • Other duties as assigned.      

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  A minimum one-year previous bartending skills with high volume sales required. 

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a liquor license with the State of Indiana. 
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills, along with an upbeat and positive attitude and be able to perform in a fast pace environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills are required. 
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

•        Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:   Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission. Must qualify for, obtain and maintain a gaming license from the state of Indiana.

  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (minimum of four hours).
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency while performing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the casino; from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and/or push a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects and the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment. 
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
