Job Description
Rutherford Regional Health SystemA non-exempt medical office position responsible for the smooth flow of patients in the medical office under the direction of a physician, assists medical providers, and maintains a clean and safe environment in accordance with the policies and procedures of the practice.
**Primary location will be Rutherford East but occasionally may have to travel to other RRHS physician practices as needed.
Job Requirements
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.
Associate's Degree in Medical Assistant preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
CertificationsBLS- required
Licenses:
Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant required.Phlebotomy Certification- Preferred
Minimum Work Experience
Prior experience working in a physician office is preferred.
