Watertown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Dietitian. Duties to inlcude providing nutritional counseling, both one on one and in the group setting, to community clients inclusive of the diabetic, oncology and cardiology population, as well as the general community. The Clinical Dietitian serves as a healthcare professional who has mastered the core knowledge and skills in the biological/social sciences, communication, counseling and education. The Clinical Dietitian is a Registered Dietitian and has experience in the care of people with various medical and nutritional needs. Must also possess an underlying degree in dietetics, nursing or pharmacy. The Clinical Dietitian leads the Diabetes Self-Management Training Program (DSMT) as the Program Coordinator and has previous work experience working within or leading a DSMT Program.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Required Licenses

Bachelors degree in dietetics, nursing or pharmacy required.
Registered (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Certified (CD) by the State of Wisconsin required.
Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE or CDCES) required at hire or within 3 months of hire date.
Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare related field. 
Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire or within 60 days of hire.
Registered member of the American Dietetic Association, preferred.
This position also requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
