Job Description
Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - WinchesterAssists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Appropriately communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition to the RN/LPN. Works with RN’s, LPN’s, Unit Secretaries and other Nursing Assistants to provide quality patient care.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of Nursing Assistant Course.
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Licenses:
Current Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Tennessee.
Certifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support
