Job Description

AmeriHome Mortgage's Consumer Direct Group is growing and seeking top talent for our Customer Service department.   The Customer Service Representative will be handling customer inquiries about our products.   These inquiries come from a variety of lead sources and are the result of both inbound and outbound efforts.  The Customer Service Representative performs a basic level of lead qualification typically following a scripted presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • The Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls while delivering a high level of professionalism and customer service to our clients
  • The Customer Service Representative is required to perform a minimum number of transfers per day to available agents
  • The Customer Service Representative contacts prospective clients to generate interest in our mortgage products
  • Communicate effectively over the phone with the ability to escalate customer complaints and concerns to appropriate departments
  • Multi-task effectively by speaking and entering client data into the AmeriHome Mortgage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System 

Qualifications:

  • Two years of relevant inside sales experience preferred
  • College education preferred.  High School diploma or GED required
  • Comfortable meeting production goals in a deadline-driven environment
  • Able to work well in a team 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work various shifts
