Job Description

Haywood Regional Medical Center

Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.
Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.
Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.

Job Requirements

Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Graduate of trade school or technical college preferred.
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required LicensesElectricians
Facility electricians must have and maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors.
