Position Summary:

Design and implement industrialization strategy, manage the industrialization department, lead and direct process improvements, as the MT member of Auto OEM LED Lamps.

Process system architecture ensure the development and implementation of new technologies and technical solutions to enhance production quality, capacity and efficiency

Drive all technical operational issues related to SMT and system integration processes to enable operational success of the entire new product introduction cycle and into the mass production phase

Lead the expertise team on manufacturing process innovation.

What You Will Do:

  • Industrialization Expertise :
  • Develop and implement 3-5 years industrialization strategy based on market input.
  • Lead the industrialization team to design and implement world class manufacturing equipment in line with the industrialization strategy.
  • Drive process improvements in order to deliver world class quality, delivery and costs results with the other function
  • Deliver documentation to the factory (drawings, work instructions, maintenance plan, Ocaps, etc)
  • Equipment's are safe and law compliance.
  • Equipment performance (yield, OEE, productivity)
  • Process Architecture Expertise:
  • Responsible for developing manufacturing concept design and effectively implementing technical strategies, architectures and solutions based on best practices in alignment with business, strategy and goals.
  • Responsible for development of new line and improvement, at least including Equipment design, supplier selection with procurement, Buy-off and installation, Debug and ramp-up.
  • Responsible to establish standard practices and independently determines impact to design approaches and parameters to the final product.
  • Support the development of manufacturing strategy and industrialization footprint.
  • Lead creative process innovation with internal partners, to deliver robust quality with costs efficiency results.
  • Provide early and ongoing manufacturing involvement to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Ensure the project timing of industrialization and quality expectation. Zero PPM and safe launch.
  • Consult manufacturing capability and efficiency improvement for outsourcing suppliers.

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

  • Master in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering.
  • Fluent english is required, Japanese speaking will be a plus.
  • Progressive experience in similar position in matrix multinational.
  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Lean and 6 sigma experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with management of cross functional teams.
  • Strong Influential leadership skills by managing & advising MT in a (matrix) organization in reaching results, creating organizational commitment for Business propositions targets.
  • Demonstrate the Lumileds value: building trust, transparency and integrity.

  • Master's
