Position Title:   Inside Sales Executive – Non-Delegated

What we’re looking for:

AmeriHome Mortgage is looking for a Non-Delegated Correspondent Account Executive to develop AmeriHome’s client base across the nation.  This position will report to the SVP Sales and will be expected to source, close and train Non-Delegated Correspondent prospects.   The candidate will be expected to work in the office, calling on existing contacts as well as those provided by AmeriHome’s Sales Development team.  This is a great opportunity for a driven individual to develop a large book of business.  This position may work from our Westlake Village, CA or Dallas, TX offices, or potentially from their home office. 

What you will do:

  • Source clients from existing book of business
  • Continuously develop new leads provided by the Sales Development team
  • Using the Salesforce.com platform, manage leads through the sales funnel, logging activity and completing prospect data
  • Work with the Client Support team to ensure new clients are trained and skilled at understanding AmeriHome’s products, processes and technology tools
  • Work with clients to resolve administrative and loan level issues and understand the escalation process for loans requiring advanced resources
  • Work with sales support and operations teams to ensure successful client experiences
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets – new clients, funding volume)

What you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in Wholesale and/or Non-Delegated Correspondent sales, with a proven track record and results
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage industry and the various origination channels
  • Professional approach to sales, including relationship selling
  • History of being a proactive and independent self-starter
  • Team oriented attitude
  • Solid understanding of mortgage products, regulatory compliance and underwriting guidelines
  • Proven track record of success in developing and nurturing clients
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executives, peers and associates
  • Ability to solve complex issues independently, timely and under pressure
  • Critical thinking with a creative mindset
