Our physicians and staff provide diagnostic and treatment services for a wide range of illnesses from the common millennial cold to more advanced geriatric concerns.   • Performs established procedures for testing specimens for all age groups serviced

  • Performs and documents quality control procedures; evaluates results and implements corrective action when indicated.

  • Assists other department personnel and performs technical duties as required.

  • Uses judgment in reporting laboratory data for all age groups serviced.

Job Requirements

Minimum Work Experience

Completionof a MT / MLT program with clinical rotations.

One to threeyears as a generalist or as a specialist in specific area.


Minimum Education

Baccalaureatedegree plus successful completion of a technologist level exam given by ASCP.Baccalaureate degree plus successful completion of a medical technology programand is eligible to sit for a technologist level exam given by ASCP.

Associatedegree in clinical laboratory sciences from an accredited college or equivalent. Successful completion of or eligible tosit for a technician level exam given by a national certifying agency. Baccalaureatepreferred.
