Job responsibilities include yet are not limited to:

• Applies professional nursing principles, procedures and intervention to the multidisciplinary treatment experience

• Observes and records patients behaviors and interactions towards prescribed treatment goals

• Works collegially with medical staff, licensed therapist and other assigned professionals in helping patients achieve their therapeutic goals

• Provides patient education and consultation with parents/care givers

• Participates in patient assessment with RN and interprets patient's needs from admission through discharge planning including periods of crisis and stabilization

• Administers prescribed medications and maintains medical records and clinical documentation

• Prepares individualized treatment plans and documentation within the patient's record
