Job Description
Central Carolina HospitalThe LPN/LVN provided direct and indirect patient care, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The LPN will:
- Administer medications
- Implement treatments
- Assess patients for change in condition and report to RN any findings
- Specimen collection
- Documentation in EMAR
- Assist with ADLs
- Provide education to patients and family
- Follow infection control policies
- Assist co-workers as needed
- Assist RN with plan of care
- Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment
Job Requirements
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Graduate of Licensed Practical Nursing Program is required
Required License:
Licensed Practical Nurse is required
Required Certification:
American Heart Association BLS is required
