Primary Functions

Sound engineering knowledge in leading strategic improvement projects and solving technical problems with a systematic approach. Lead a team of Manufacturing engineers and AEs to support production and NPI activities. Define and implement innovative and value adding engineering activities to improve productivity and OEE.

Minimum Qualifications



MUST

  1. Recognized Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering.
  2. Min 6 years of hands on experience in FOL processes and related equipment.
  3. Experience in low volume/high mix PCBA manufacturing environment.
  4. Experience in electromechanical equipment trouble shooting and tooling design.
  5. Knowledge of OEE, FMEA, GD&T, SPC & GR&R. 



WANT

  1. Good analytical skills in problem solving approach.
  2. Good technical report writing & skills.
  3. Good organizing, planning and communication skills.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities

  1. Lead key engineering projects and sustain yields, quality & cost down of manufacturing processes.
  2. To continuously improve process cycle time by means of process and equipment enhancement.
  3. Implements the use of SPC techniques to monitor and control process capability.
  4. Lead p-FMEA activities for FOL process flow and define appropriate PCP.
  5. Handle Customer returns/ rejects and generate valid 8D response.
  6. Co-ordinate and lead Technical Audit during customer visit.
  7. To supervise subordinates and identify training needs.
  8. Manage spare parts inventory for critical FOL equipment.
  9. Define methodologies to reduce changeover time during line set-up.
  10. Able to set-up manufacturing lines and equipment for customer sample builds.
  11. Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
