Job Description
Haywood Regional Medical CenterUses manual techniques, and may apply adjunctive therapies, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client.
Assesses health needs of clients through screening, surveys, and client requests.
Develops stress management and other special interest classes and programs.
Job Requirements
Minimum EducationGraduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program with 500 hours minimum.Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum Work ExperienceMinimum of two years of experience.
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required LicensesMassage Therapists
Current licensure as a Massage Therapist in North Carolina or national certification in Therapeutic Massage.
