Job Description
Memorial Medical CenterProvides clinical support to patients in the Physician clinic under the supervision of the provider. Provides continuity and coordination of care in the outpatient setting including adolescents as well as adults.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education: Highschool diploma or equivalent.Minimum Experience: Two(2) years clinical office experience. Medical terminology, computer knowledgerequired.
Certification/Licensure: Possessa current MA certification from AMT, AAMA, NCCT or NHCA.
For Newhires: Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Ifcurrently certified, must maintain current certification. CPRcertification required.
Medical Assistant will berequired to cross train to work as a Front Office Representative. FrontOffice Representative duties include the efficient, productive, andprofessional operation of the front office of the Clinic, which includestelephone and patient reception, scheduling patients, collecting patientdemographic and insurance information, and collecting/documenting patientpayments.
