The Medical Scribe helps to increase the efficiency and productivity of the physician by accompanying them into the patient room in order to transcribe a history and physical exam and document accurately the physicians encounter with the patient and others present.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required

Graduate of a program in Medical Assisting preferred.

Required Skills
Certifications:
Current Certification or Registry as a Medical Assistant preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Previous experience as a Medical Scribe preferred.

Minimum five (5) year medical office experience required if not a graduate of a Medical Assisting program.
