The LPN administers nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse; performing a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Job includes, but are not limited to; administration of direct care to patients considering special needs of infants through geriatric patients including assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, and treatments/ procedures as ordered by the physician. Appropriately communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Graduate of School of Nursing.
Current State of Kentucky (or Compact State) licensure.
Current BLS Certification
Critical Thinking, Communication, and Interpersonal Relationship Skills.
