Under the supervision of the designated Laboratory Administrative Director, performs clinical laboratory procedures, quality assurance, and instrument maintenance. The position reports to the Laboratory Administrative Director through the Laboratory Manager. The medical technologist also maintains cooperative working relationships with interdepartmental and interdepartmental personnel.

FLSA: Non-exempt

Job Requirements

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited program Required

Successful completion of a Medical Technology program that is accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), or equivalent training, education, and experience.


Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
