Job Description
St Francis HospitalUnder the direction of an RN is responsible for patient safety, welfare, and the implementation of therapeutic milieu and treatment plans. Serve as a patient observer on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require any degree of observation in order to maximize patient safety. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficiency of the nursing unit.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; Master’s degree in psychology,social work, or related field. Two (2) years of additional experience beyondthat required may be applied in lieu of the education requirement.
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) X Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire
Minimum WorkExperience
Four (4) years of mental health experience in Mental Health Technician orsimilar function
