Job Description

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a strong leader to lead a team of Correspondent Lending Operations Account Representatives (OAR's).  The OAR's are responsible for the operational management of client loan pipelines and overall relationships, providing quality service by maintaining client accounts (pipeline management), including managing aged loans, leading regular client calls and following up on escalations as needed.  The successful candidate will need to be able to lead this team by example while bringing on their leadership ability to manage escalations and look for ways to improve processes.  Functions include but are not limited to:

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a team of client centric OAR's to facilitate loan review throughout, meeting client and organizational expectations regarding service level, productivity and quality
  • Establish and ensure client communications, meet quality expectations in terms of accuracy, efficiency and timliness
  • Audit loan files to ensure the various reviews have been completed with accuracy 
  • Manage seller complaints as needed - focusing on the smallest of details to ensure prevention versus reaction to client concerns
  • Constantly analyze current processes for ways to increase productivity and quality while reducing expenses

What You Will Need:

  • 4-year college degree in a business related major
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in roles of increased responsibility
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and remediating process deficiencies to improve operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated experience in a client service environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and strengthen relationships with internal and external clients
  • Must be a self-starter and self-motivated to meet job expectations and goals
  • Must be able to motivate others to meet their own job expectations and goals
  • Must be organized, responsible and able to use good judgement
  • Abiility to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking envionment and to manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • At least 3 years' management experience related to mortgage loan production or client services
  • 5+ years of mortgage experience, with a thorough understanding of mortgage loans
