Job Description
Memorial Medical CenterProvides assistance to medical staff during surgical cases by preparing operating rooms with appropriate supplies and equipment, performing necessary counts at the appropriate times, passing instruments to surgeon during surgical procedures, and assisting with cleaning of operating room. Provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups. Acting as a surgical assistant when requested/necessary.
Job Requirements
MinimumEducation: High School graduate or equivalent.Minimum Experience: At least one yearexperience in the operating room within an acute care facility. On-callrequired.
Certification/Licensure: Current CPRCertificate required.
