Memorial Medical CenterUnder the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities.
Job Requirements
MinimumEducation: High school graduateor equivalent preferred.MinimumExperience: None required.
Certification: Documentationof current State Issued Nursing Assistant Certification or completion ofMedical/Surgical semester from a school of nursing program with a B average orbetter or licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician or documentation of acurrent State issued Emergency Medical Technician License or documentation ofhaving worked as a Military Medic/Healthcare Specialist (DD214) or similarmilitary issued document needed to validate training or documentation of havingsuccessfully completed a
Patient Care Technician Program and hold a currentPatient Care Tech National Certification (NHA, NCCT or NHCWA).
Patient Care Tech will berequired to take and pass Memorial Medical Center’s Patient Care Tech coursewithin 90 days of hire.
Certification or completion courses must meetthe standards of Memorial Medical Center.
