Job Description
SOVAH Health - DanvilleProvides observation for patients requiring supervision for safety reasons, i.e., patients on suicide precautions and patients with compromised judgment, patients who need companion due to the state of confusion or agitation. Assists patients with general comfort needs, meals, re-positioning, as needed. Assists patients with bed- chair transfers and will also transport patients as needed.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including week-ends and holidays to insure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units.
