Coordinates assigned Quality/Patient Safety program to facilitate the program initiatives to ensure effective and timely patient care.


Facilitates the development, implementation, and ongoing adherence of Quality/Patient Safety program protocols. Metrics, and initiatives.

Collaborates with medical and hospital staff to provide evidenced based practice.

Provides education and clinical expertise to care team, patients, and families

Collects and analyzes program data to assist with documentation, coding, clinical care and improved outcomes.

Demonstrates ability to be flexible and organized.

Assists with facilitation and implementation of special projects.

Evaluates and documents program performance.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

Graduate Accredited School of Nursing;Associates Degree for accredited college in a healthcare field; Bachelor’sDegree and Master’s Degree strongly preferred.

Minimum Work Experience:

A minimum of 5 years acute care hospitalexperience.

Required Licenses:

Professional license/registration as required bySouth Carolina for health professionals.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisivejudgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriateaction.  Service excellence and good interpersonal skills, ability toread/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PCskills, Proficient in Microsoft Office.
