Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services to patients in an assigned area/service.
Minimum Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Licensure: Current NM Physician Assistant license, NM Controlled Substance License, and DEA license and NCCPA certification required. CPR certification required.
