Job Description

Memorial Medical Center

Assists physicians with incomplete records. Monitors completion of medical records to assure compliance with Medical Staff Rules and Regulations, State Law, Medicare/Medicaid regulations and JCAHO standards as well as other applicable regulatory agencies.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Formal education in medical terminology or equivalent experience. 

Minimum Experience:  Medical office or HIM experience preferred.  Types 40 wpm with no errors.  Proficient use of numerical and alphabetical filing systems.
